mayor bing's administration had been remiss of providing the basic goods and services in bacolod city. squatter problem and inefficient garbage collection greatly contribute to the flooding problem. the flooding problem had never been his priority in the first place. not a single word of flooding was mentioned in his state of the city address. POLITICS and HIS REELECTION seems to be his only priority at the expenses of the citizenry!!
Joemarie Vargas said according to the city's project study, the flood prone areas in the city has reached 40%. Really an IMMENENT DANGER that requires the Mayor to head the flooding committee!!
Councilor Gasataya has admitted in the FRANKAHANAY TV program November 29, 2007 that the Bacolod City garbage problem is a "MESS" and that he is part of the "MESS" together with the Leonardia city administration!!!
